From the Ground Up
Our exclusive chemistry excels at managing turfgrass in the Pacific Northwest. The manufacturing of all the products in the Turf Health Products Company, is done in the Pacific Northwest; some in Western Canada and others in Washington State. This was done with the goal of being a regional support group for all turfgrass managers in this area, and allowing us to pass the freight savings on to you.
David Duncan - President & Founder

Entering his 25th year in the Turfgrass Business, David Duncan’s experience has been gained from the bunker maintenance crew at Vancouver Golf Club, to the bowels of some of the most forward thinking labs in the United States.
In 1993, he joined the construction crew of the Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club; 2 years and 2 days later, there were 27 holes spread over 262 acres, encompassing more than 800 feet of elevation change. As the Assistant Superintendent at Westwood Plateau for 8 years under the tutelage of superintendent Bruce Thrasher, he also attended the University of Guelph in 1995 (Turfgrass Managers Short Program), and from 1996-98 attended the Two-Year Penn State University Turfgrass Managers Program, graduating with honours as the Valedictorian of the program.
In 2003, he became the Golf Course Superintendent at the Falls Golf Resort in the Fraser Valley. The Golf Course made strides that season, but economies failed to support the changes required, and the following year he began his consulting role with Sport Turf, Inc., (Floratine Canada) covering Vancouver, Vancouver Island and Northern British Columbia. After six years on the 'other side' of the hole, questions arose on the limitations in product offerings for the predominantly challenging Pacific Northwest: Considering most products were developed with warm season conditions in mind due to economic factors, and were required to be shipped long distances to Northwest corner of the continent.
Enter: Turf Health Products - The Complete Package
2010 began Dave's collaborative and mentor relationship with former USGA agronomist, Jim Connolly. Together and under Mr. Connolly's tutelage, they consulted with many leading plant science manufacturers, to build a custom turfgrass product line for the tough Pacific Northwest and Western Canadian Markets. Its been 6 years, and we're still Growing Strong.

Turf Health Products Company has built strong relationships for analytical services with Harris Labs (soil and water chemistry testing), ISTRC (physical property analysis), and Earthfort Laboratories (Soil Biology Biomass), to complete the growers triangle. We continue to develop strong distribution relationships with EP Minerals, The Stabilizer Company, Target Products (top dressing, bunker and construction aggregates), Terralink Horticulture Co., Bioworx Agricultural Products (Microbial inoculates), and several independent turf management businesses to complete the tool box; with the goal in mind of bringing science, education, experience and documentation to the turfgrass manager.
Turf Health Products Company has expanded our product and services into sports field construction, baseball facilities and home owner consultation (even a grass tennis court). The consulting piece of the business has moved throughout Western Canada and into Quebec over the past four years.
